     Stuart Anderson, of Metro Link, Inc., spoke at the meeting of the Suncoast Linux Users Group on Saturday, 24 July 1999.

     A copy of Anderson's remarks (Anderson is the Technical Lead for the Linux Standard Base group) is here. It deals largely with the Linux Standard Base work and design considerations.

     A transcript of the Question and Answer was produced by SLUG member, Paul Braman. -- kudos to Paul for his fine work.

   There was mention of Fred Brooks' classic book, The Mythical Man-Month: Essays on Software Engineering, in one of the questions during Stuart's presentation [Brooks being a driving force behind the magnum opus, System/360 (which was the 'Unix' of its day)] -- the "Books" button may be useful.
