In the last five years, increases in giving have not kept pace with inflation. In 1995, per capita giving to campaigns managed by the United Way of Franklin County was $36.01.
These figures include only contributions to the United Way annual campaign and other workplace-based solicitations it manages. These include the Combined Federal Campaign and the State of Ohio Combined Charitable Campaign. There are other fundraising campaigns throughout Franklin County that are not managed by United Way or are not workplace-based. Currently there is no way to track contributions to all of these campaigns. Therefore, total contribution figures for all fundraising campaigns in Franklin County are not available.
