The U S National Security Agency has issued a formal guide to
securing Windows NT. The fact that there is only a
single Windows NT guide, while there are more than a dozen for
Windows 2000 is not a reflection of the relative security of
the operating system variants, but rather reflects the
severely limited support and market share of the NT platform.

as the guides are periodically updated.
